Sámi knives

To the Sámi, the knife is an essential tool — as well as a source of pride, to be worn with the traditional Sámi clothing. At our store, you can find a wide selection of high-quality authentic Sámi knives. You will find both exclusive knives with intricate patterns and reindeer horn carvings, as well as more basic knives where the handle is mainly made of beautiful flame birch.

We offer engraving of the knife you purchase. This is included in the price when you buy a knife from us.

Wooden cups

We offer high quality wooden cups, handmade in Lapland. They are boiled in salt water to tolerate temperatures below zero without the wood cracking. We offer engraving of the cup(s) you purchase. This is included in the price when you buy a cup from us.

Leather products

We have premium quality reindeer skins. We have large skins intended for indoor use, as well as smaller sitting pads. Some of the sitting pads are impregnated with silicone, which makes them suitable for outdoor use during winter.

Leather bracelets are an old and well-known Sámi tradition. We sell bracelets from Julevu, a swedish company based in Luleå, in Swedish Lapland. The bracelets are made of reindeer skin, with braided pewter threads and a button made of reindeer horn. When you have worn it for some time, the pewter will develop a beautiful patina.

These can of course be worn by both men and women, and you will see that we have both feminine and more masculine designs to choose from.

High quality leather hats from Helafur (finnish website). The hats are made of reindeer or seal skin, with blue fox fur. These hats are very warm, and the fur provides shelter from harsh winds and weather.

Sámi shawls

We are proud to offer Sámi shawls made from 100% wool, by Labba. These are both warm and super-soft, without being itchy. 85 x 85 cm. The colours we can offer is dependent on availability.
